Prices back up another 7 cents after falling 12 cents yesterday. Now oil trading at about $92 a barrel and since gas prices started spiking because the price of oil, this is what makes it so frustrating. It takes up to two months to refine and have the gas brought into our pumps. So basically, we have yet to see the high-priced gas we've already been paying for. The largest dairy cooperative in the country has issued a voluntary recall of certain milk products because it could contain glass. The recall affects cartons of Farmers Brand milk as well as Natrel lactose-free chocolate milk and Caybon chocolate milk. AgroPure said the recall was triggered by a consumer complaint. The complete list of products can be found on the AgroPure website. Gray Bruce OPP resuming their search for a man missing since late January. 64-year-old James Van Veen of Georgian Bluffs was reported missing on the 26th after failing to arrive at work. His vehicle was found unoccupied in the Inglis Falls parking lot. Police are asking the public to avoid the parking lot as a command post is established. He's described as 5'10, about 175 pounds, with shoulder-length gray and white hair, a full gray beard, and brown eyes. Police are asking anybody who is in the Inglis Falls area between the evening of January 25th and the morning of January 26th to review any dash cam or home surveillance footage. Ontario's finance minister will unveil the budget today, which is not expected to have any increases. Among some of the highlights we're told about, Ontario's planning to temporarily expand the HST rebates on the purchase of new homes for all buyers for the next year. Now, the temporary measure would see homes valued up to $1.5 million qualify for the maximum $130,000 rebate. Light 99, 3 sports, NHL last night, the Leafs beat the Rangers 4-3. Boston beat Buffalo by the same score in overtime. Leafs are in St. Louis Saturday at 7. NBA last night, the Raptors lost to the Clippers, won 1994. They host New Orleans tomorrow at 8.30. Major League Baseball debuted yesterday. The Yankees blasted San Fran 7-0. The Jays home opener is tomorrow at 7 against the Athletics. And the OHL playoffs get underway tonight.
