Speed cameras across Ontario will soon be taken down after provincial legislation passed today to ban them.
Premier Doug Ford has said speed cameras don't work to slow drivers down, calling them a cash grab.
Ford has also said he believes measures like speed bumps, roundabouts and signs with flashing lights are more effective.
According to the Transportation Minister, speed cameras are set to be removed in two weeks.

Canada's cyber security agency is warning that activist hackers have been targeting online control systems that manage water, energy, and agricultural operations.
According to recent reports, one instance saw the hackers interfere with water pressure at an unidentified facility, disrupting service to a community, in another, they manipulated an automated tank gauge, triggering false alarms at a Canadian oil and gas company.

Grand Erie Public Health has asked a Brantford city councillor to resign from the Health Board.
According to the Expositor, Dan McCreary called the decision retribution for questioning their leadership, governance and finances, saying during his time as a board member, it was apparent the organization lacked leadership and competence to properly administer public funds,” and says his inquiries for financial information were met with hostility.
An investigation of in-camera or closed-door meetings, has already found 30 violations in about 18 months.
McCreary is now banned from attending meetings.
Police in Georgetown are looking for video footage of an area where they believe a shooting happened Wednesday night.
Halton Regional Police say it happened between 10 p-m and 11 p-m near Tenth Line and River Drive.
They say officers responded to reports of a shooting, while no victims were found, two people  went to a nearby hospital later with serious injuries.
 
Provincial police say they charged two individuals and seized suspected drugs and firearms in Simcoe.
They say officers executed a search warrant at a residence on Windham Road Wednesday at around 6:00 a-m as part of a stolen property investigation
Investigators say two suspects were taken into custody and firearms and an unspecified quantity of drugs were also confiscated.
The suspects remain in custody and are scheduled to appear before a court for a bail hearing on November 6.
 
Police in Waterloo charged a teenage girl in connection with the collision that sent all four of them to hospital earlier this month.
Police said the 15-year-old girl driver from Cambridge, hit a hydro pole, all passengers
under the age of 16, were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Police are looking for a trailer loaded with whipped cream.
They say a manager of a business in Guelph, reported the theft Wednesday morning, the shipment worth about $80,000. 
Police say the white Wabash refrigerated trailer was hooked up and towed away around 4:30 a.m. 
Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
 
King Charles has stripped his brother Andrew of his remaining royal titles and evicted him from his residence.
The move follows growing pressure over Andrew's ties to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
The former royal will now be known simply as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
Earlier this month, he surrendered his title Duke of York.
